Leonardo stayed here until 1483, when he left for Milan. In Milan he was asked by Lodovico Sforza to build a statue in honor of Sforza's father. The first work that Leonardo finished in Milan was the that were recorded in his sketchesLeonardo, before his death, did many drawings of the human body. Leonardo Da Vinci's sketches helped our world in many ways. One, his scientific studies were recorded in his sketchbook, and provided much information on flight, as well as other scientific areas. Second, Da Vinci created excellent in-depth drawings of the human body, which helped doctor's and surgeons perform better during surgery. Finally, Da Vinci's study on building shapes and designs showed ideas on how to build for maximum space with limited supplies.

Artwork

Da Vinci's artwork during his lifetime was hardly respected whatsoever. He was hired to paint various things, and his work was expected. Most of the time, Da Vinci was nothing more than an apprentice, and thought of as "lower" by his peers. This didn't bother Leonardo, however, he continued to paint, and later finished one of his most incredible projects, The Mona Lisa. What compels people today is the amazing lifelike resemblances Da Vinci's paintings hold. Da Vinci's proportionality and realism are remarkable. It is intriguing that he was so unappreciated in his time. In the idea of detail, one question to ponder:

Why doesn't the Mona Lisa have eyebrows?

Da Vinci, during the 1400's made incredible strides in the area of science and invention. Still, at this time he was appreciated by no-one for his marvelous efforts. Today, it's hard to imagine what type of modern life we would have if it wasn't for Da Vinci's initial sketches and incredible brainstorms. One major area that was affected greatly by Da Vinci is warfare. Da Vinci created many models for unheralded weaponry. Also, he created strategic layouts and battle plans that would be marveled by military leaders for years to come. Overall, Da Vinci was definitely a man before his time.

This is a computer generated sound of Da Vinci created by a Japanese scientist based on the structure of his face.

My name is Leonardo Da Vinci. The artist of Mona Lisa. She is one of my greatest paintings, and I didn't leave my eyes off until I died. I drew my special feelings through the smirking of Mona Lisa. This painting will probably be one of the greatest mystery. I will hope that someone will be able to solve the mystery.

Conspiracy Theorys

Many people believe that Leonardo da Vinci had many things to do with conspiracys, one of the most well known is The Last Supper.

It is said that the mirrored image of this painting contains a female figure to the left of Jesus christ instead of what the normal version shows to be the apostle John and the face of Jesus is that of an Alien... It is also said that in the normal version of the last supper the "V" in the space between Jesus Christ and John/Mary symbolises feminism.

It follows symbologist Robert Langdon and Sophie Neveu as they investigate a murder in Paris's Louvre Museum and discover a battle between the Priory of Sion and Opus Dei over the possibility of Jesus Christ of Nazareth having been married to Mary Magdalene.
